In reply to your letter of the 18th instant, No.1948/23/24, concerning the request of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club for a copy of a warrant of 1894 enabling the Club to use the title "Royal", I am commanded by my Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to state that they learnt of the approval of the Club's application to use the title "Royal" by Colonial Office letter of the 6th of February 1894 but received no copy of any document signifying Her Majesty's approval of the application.

the club has its possession letter from the Governor conveying I presume furnish that certified copy of Queen's approval that you could with Chey extract from the Law Department notifying the grant.
